Dear Friends, hello!

We are excited to invite you to join our growing group of environmentally & socially aware, and financially successful businesses.

The SEE Green program was created in 1998 to unite and empower businesses like yours, to inspire all companies and individual practitioners to become greener, and to facilitate our ongoing efforts in integrating more social, environmental, and economic values into our everyday business practices.  Our mission is to be your marketing arm, promoting your progress and making your successes more visible to the public.

We have been publishing a comprehensive user-friendly directory of local green businesses, distributed throughout the entire Sonoma County, and many places in Marin and Mendocino.  We are moving into the Sacramento area this year as well.

Membership in the SEE Green program is a Value Plus type membership.

As a SEE Green member you will receive continued support in form of:

-          cost effective advertising in the SEE Green Directory, SEE Green annual coupon book, and on the SEE Green website;

-          positive, high-quality public exposure through participation as guest speakers on TV and radio programs, organized by SEE Green, and devoted to analyzing current green issues and showcasing local greening businesses, members of SEE Green;

-          updated information on the latest environmental regulations and on how businesses can incorporate new green ideas, through various articles published in the SEE Green Directory;

-          sustainability assessments and energy efficiency assessments;

-          representing members at local community events, like the Earth Day Celebrations, Health & Harmony Fairs, Herb Festivals, Solfest, etc.;

-          networking opportunities during SEE Green Business Mixers;

-          educational opportunities at SEE Green educational forums, which are put together in cooperation with Chambers of Commerce, SRJC, SSU and New College, etc.;

-          annual analysis of how each member can become greener through simple measurable steps, outlined in the Annual Green Pledge;

-          providing access to SEE Green certified panel of consultants (environmental technical consulting, specialized green marketing consulting, environmentally savvy business development, etc.), offering their professional services to SEE Green members at a consistent discount.

Together, we can implement positive changes by integrating more social, environmental, and economic values into our business practices.  We are looking forward to working with you in 2003.

Warmest regards,
